Actually, Mauritius is renowned for white sandy beaches, turquoise sea and exclusive hotels. What most guests do not know: The island is also suited for hunting trips, which can be combined with a beach or family holiday. Mainly Rusa Deer and Wild Boars are hunted. Rusa Deer, which is native to East Asia, can develop antlers weighing up to 8kg. The best hunting season is from June to early December, however Mauritius has a subtropical climate and therefore it is generally recommended to travel in the period between June and October.
